Developmental Therapy is unique to the world of early intervention and specifically looks at how a child is developing across all areas of development. A DT looks at a child’s cognitive skills, language and communication, social-emotional regulation, motor skills and self-help abilities. Developmental therapists are known to address many areas in pediatric therapy, focusing on the important milestones your child needs to achieve, and know when to recommend other services like speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and/or ABA therapy.
